Melanoma March - Devonport
The Lions Club of Mersey-Devonport will again team up with the Melanoma Institute of Australia to organise the 2020 Melanoma March in Devonport on Saturday March 7 from 6pm to 8:15pm.
Every five hours, one Australian dies from melanoma. Time won’t stand still and neither will we. Take steps to end melanoma – join our March in 2020 for a cure.
Join us at Melanoma March Devonport in 2020 from Aitkenhead Point (Vietnam Veterans Memorial) to the Bluff and return. A lantern ceremony will be held after people return to rember those loved ones who have died from this killer cancer. Reusable lanterns will be available for purchase at the event. Raffle prizes will be drawn and the winners of the "Best Hat" competition announced.
This family-friendly event brings together the whole melanoma community to raise awareness and funds for melanoma research. This is your opportunity to remember those lost to melanoma, support people with melanoma and inspire all Australians to help end melanoma. All funds raised will go towards crucial research dedicated to finding a cure for melanoma. See you on Saturday 7 March 2020!
